Tortured for Answers

((Yay, being able to catch up on these a bit now that RL stuff is slightly less chaotic. XD This takes after the fight against Zander.))

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eliad groaned softly as he tried to wake up. He suddenly felt a splash of water being dumped on him. He yelped as he was, opening his eyes suddenly. He glanced around his surroundings, seeing him in some sort of shed. His arms were bound by chains.

“Well…,” said Eliad. “Not at my camp anymore…”

Zander walked to the table and picked up a piece of paper before showing it to Eliad. It read, ‘Ranger Aeruthuil, Cassiah, where can be found?

Eliad narrowed his eyes at the note.

“I’m not going to say anything about them,” said Eliad. “You’re honestly asking the wrong person, Zander…”

Zander chuckled as if he wanted Eliad to say that. He then placed the note on the table and walked to his bag of “goodies.”

“No matter what, I’m going to Angmar and will challenge my father,” said Eliad, watching him. “Only then will I change things there.”

Zander took out a metal bar and placed it on the bed, taking out a metal thing with leather wraps around it afterwards. Eliad continued to watch him, saying nothing else as he mentally prepared himself for whatever may happen. Zander moved back to Eliad and wrapped the leather straps around Eliad’s head and placed the metal object in his mouth. Eliad gulped softly but stayed still, knowing of the device, knowing that the metal object in his mouth had blades in case if he had spoken or screamed or anything. Zander then tightened the metal piece inside Eliad’s mouth where the blades already came to touch his tongue, cutting into it somewhat, before leaning down and taking off Eliad’s boots. Eliad winced as the blade cut into his tongue, his fingers curling. He only continued to watch, doing his best to keep all of his sanity.

Zander walked back to the bed and grabbed the metal object before going to the fireplace of the shed and began to heat the metal. As it turned to the white flame and was ready to come out, he walked back to Eliad and placed the hot metal close to his face so he could feel the heat coming off of it before showing him the letter again. ‘Ranger Aeruthuil, Cassiah, where can be found?

Eliad winced as the heat could be felt from the metal. If he could have moved his fingers, he would have given Zander the middle finger. Instead, he kept his gaze on Zander despite of the heat. Zander shrugged and placed the paper back on the table before going behind Eliad and tightening the black chain in order for his foot to be raised and to expose the bottom of his foot. Eliad did his best to keep his breathing normal through his nose, watching him. He did his best in order to brace himself for the pain. Zander placed the burning hot metal on the bottom of Eliad’s foot, searing the flesh. Eliad shut his eyes rather tightly, tears welling up in his eyes. He opened his left eye slowly to look at Zander, giving a look that would say, ‘Screw you.’

Zander chuckled again before tightening the chain to raise the other foot. Eliad shut his eye tightly again, bracing himself for the metal. Zander placed the metal on the other foot, searing the flesh as well. Eliad kept his eyes closed as tight as he could as he felt the metal. Zander walked back to the fire with a sigh and threw the metal back in there before going back to his bag and grabbing a metal hammer. He then went back to Eliad and lifted Eliad’s chin, using the hammer, and showed him the paper again. ‘Ranger Aeruthuil, Cassiah, where can be found?’

You need to be careful. You’re playing with all of our lives.

Eliad reminded himself of those words before closing his eyes in a rather sad expression on his face. Not sad due to him being captured once again for he would not give his cherished friends away. He was only sad due to Zander being on the side of Eliad’s father. It was not like he could have asked anyways. Zander sighed, getting irritated at this. He placed the paper back on the table and came back to Eliad before slamming the hammer into Eliad’s left knee, causing great pain. Eliad winced once again as the hammer hit the knee before opening his eyes, looking down at the ground. Zander moved the hammer to hit the other knee with the same force. Eliad nearly gritted his teeth but did not due to the device as he had watched the hammer hitting the knee. Zander grumbled and tossed the hammer away before going back to get a whip with any strings attached and on the end of the strings are fragments of blades. He walked back to Eliad and showed him the paper again. ‘Ranger Aeruthuil, Cassiah, where can be found?

Eliad glanced at the whip before glancing back at Zander, the look in his eyes becoming feral. It was the same look that had overcome him as he fought Doraku. Zander ripped off Eliad’s top, exposing his bare chest. Eliad kept his gaze on him, not looking away as his chest was exposed, revealing his Iron Crown brand on the right collarbone. Zander grumbled and started hitting away at Eliad’s chest, leaving the cuts in order to be scars. He watched the blood leave Eliad’s body and sighed to himself in a moment of, ‘What am I doing?

Eliad shut his eyes rather tightly as the blades hit his skin, tears welling up in his eyes once again. Zander grumbled again but decided he needed to stop for now. He took his dagger and put it near Eliad before showing him the paper again. ‘Ranger Aeruthuil, Cassiah, where can be found?

Eliad glanced at the note before looking at Zander, not giving any hint of wanting to give information to him. Zander sighed and set the note on the table before slicing Eliad’s skin for him to fall into unconsciousness again.
