Carrenhil found a place to rest for a bit in Buckland, she got a piece of charcoal and a pad and started writing
'The road seems ever so long... Will it ever end? I miss my friends, and my family, even though I do not have many left... Will I ever see them again?'
She puts the pad and piece of charcoal back and starts riding again
