Coffee is the drink I love the most in my life. The taste of coffee I cannot make clear in words. Just pure coffee may be normal, plain, maybe even awful. But if you do add milk and sugar to it, it'll become a gift of the Valar. And next for the icing of the cake, I'd dip a bit of cram into it. That Dalish cookie may fill my stomach immediately, but it is actually a delicacy. I know that normal men (and even some women) are used to take beer or wine. But beer is too heavy, wine too noble, tea too boring. Coffee will do! So don't look so surprised if I suddenly take coffee in the Pony, do you?! I got to know coffee since I was 12 years old. I was in the Prancing Pony Inn with Simon. He wanted to take me to the small library of the town that day, hence we came to Bree. He wanted to learn me a piece or two about the fall of Arnor, 1000 years ago. But as I insisted, we first took a look in the greatest Inn of the town and I got caught up by a strange man. I don't know his name anymore. I even hesitate if they ever told me. (Not that I ever have them seen again after that evening.) Simon was paying the bill and the man, sitting on the end of the table, beckoned me. "you little lad, you'd do something for me?" I doubted to do, since Simon learned me not to frequent with unknown people. He shortly looked annoyed and little scared as I was I approached him. "I quickly have to talk with the musicians there on the other side of the room!" I looked quickly aside to three musicians who pleased the crown in the room. "You want to guard my cup here? Nobody should run off with it!" That was ofcourse an easy task! I nodded shortly and while the man quickly stood up, I glanced to his cup. It was still hot and had a nice brown color thanks to the milk the man added. some sugar was spilled next on the table. The man didn't look right? So I sipped a bit of the coffee. Surprised I was, for it was very sweet. And before I knew, the cup was empty. That moment, Simon came back. "I payed the bill to mr Barliman. Up your feet Edward!" Ofcourse the man must have cursed, but he didn't know I was it right? I could just have run away and someone else did it! You can't blame a child for that!
