Tales of the Mute - Letters to Myself - Entry 4

I was lingering around the Pony today and met this really nice, though slightly odd, lady. She said her name was Zeks. I like her a lot, so far, and she is quite funny. She had said that if she were a man, she would fancy me! I think that is what she said, anyway. I found it odd, at any rate. Why does one have to be a man to fancy you? I would fancy her, I bet.

I didn't see Corrben today, but that's alright, I am sure I will run into him sooner or later. Speaking of running into, Gorlen found me and attempted to apologize, but I didn't really bother to listen. For all the concerns me, he used me and that is all it was. I should have gone with Zeks when she went to the back, I wouldn't have had to deal with him then. I keep thinking about our meeting, I do hope we will become good friends.

I am worried I offended her, though. She had said she was going to sleep, and I am unsure if that was an offer for me to nap with her too? That is an odd offer, I suppose. I still should have stayed, I think. Perhaps I should say sorry for leaving, even if I am not sure it was an invitation. I will definitely look for her next time I'm around the Pony. It is weird, I have never had someone invade my thoughts so much before. She had also mentioned something about her employer using some of my art pieces, which I am kind of looking forward to. Is it odd that I am happy it would give me a reason to chat with her again?

I sent this bear of a man a picture today. I do not know what brought me to do such a thing, but he was just so interesting to me. I am sure he probably couldn't care less, but I still sent it anyway. I do not even know the man's name, I wonder if Corrben knows. He was the Watcher who arrested him, after all. I hope he liked it, though.

With love, Tosie.
