Starting the journey

When she woke she was surprised to see a package neatly wrapped at the end of the bed. Looking at the note she smiled as she began to open it, the package was from an elven friend whom she had helped retrieve a lost trinket for. She had spoken to him the previous night about her orders and the journey she must make. Upon opening the package she gasped slightly for inside was a set of woodland leather armour, made of the softest leather imaginable, subtly coloured in shades of brown and green. She quickly dressed into it and found it barely made a noise as she walked, it felt warm but not enough to make her too hot, it fitted close but without restricting movement. She then gathered the rest of her belongings and made ready to leave, as she strapped her belongs behind the saddle of her horse she began to wonder if she had done the right thing by coming here. Secretly she had hoped to see someone in Imladris but that did not arise, now she must ride hard to Tinnudir and hope she will see him there instead. She had been given just a few days to make herself ready and now she was long over a week behind in travel back to where she was to meet up with the others who were to go with her.
