Down on my luck.

The other night, I was about to settle in, but I had to write my friend Cirdu about my adventures, so I was sitting by the mailbox writing a letter. As I'm finishing it, a man approaches me, asking if I could show him the way to scholar stairs. I got up, said I didn't know the town too well, but I thought to myself, two heads are better then one, and this shouldn't take too long. We walk down the road, down the path... the path I consider "everything to be at from the pony." Like the main road or something. The crafting hall and training hall are there, and well... just about everything! I ask him how long he's been in bree, he said not too long about a week or so, just like me! At this I'm kinda confused at where we're at,  trying to look at my map, we walk into a dead end, then the guy says how about down this alley? So I follow, I actually walked past the stairs! The guy said hey they are here. So I went back to make a joke on myself for walking right past. I remember looking at the door, laughing, saying that He would've never found it if it were me, Then I turned around, said My names ceciliy....THEN WAM that's it!! THATS ALL I REMEMBER! Next thing I know, I'm waking up in the pony on a bed, my head is aching badly, and there were two people in my room, one masked, one with a hood. I've seen them around before in town, even have followed them on occasion out of curiosity. Anyway I don't remember much of the first bits of the conversation.  But I did get some tea, which was really nice to have. I explained I was a gardener... a traveling gardener... I don't think they believed me... They asked my name and then asked about notice outside... I told them I try to pick up side jobs, as well as garden. Then the masked man, also known as Hawk, as I found out later, asked me if I knew how to fight. I told him I didn't, but did have a notice on the boards outside to request an instructor, but took them down because I gave up. Then he asked if I wanted to learn. Long story short, he asked me if I was interested in joining the Guild of the Red Rose. I was a bit nervous, so I asked questions.. I know they were a serious bunch based off the rumors I've over heard in the inn. And from... following them... around... overhearing about assassin jobs that my, and my farmer's previous employer "Bal" had given them. No matter... he said that the guild was in two divisions, the fishermen and the trappers....Okay okay he didn't say.. "Fishermen" and "Trappers"  but that's what I'm calling it. I decided that I think I could Fish for them, I already do it on my own now, just out of curiosity. Plus I talk to plenty people in the Inns trying to sell my hot potatoes, and other vegetables from farming. Well that's when I joined. The hooded man known as Gold​... gave me my first gold coin! I keep it in a pouch around my neck for some good luck. God knows I need it!! Phew what I night that was!!
