![]() | Many nights; I have not written here. True, I have been preoccupied; and saddened. Tiolas, my friend; has deserted us. He is not the only one; as master Sadorvegil went alone, too. But from grief, comes joy; and as duty dictates; I must appoint an Officer. Tinuvinil already holds position, and thus my Lady, Malliel, takes upon herself the role of Mustering. My personal feelins aside, I believe fully that Malliel can fulfill her duty as Lady of Mustering. Tinuvinil trained her well, and she is no stranger to the ways of the world. I did notice hesitation when I offered her name, for the role; yet as her Tur, I do know she will do her best. I believe in her. And with Lord Tinuvinil and Lady Ioristiel at her side, I feel we shall prosper... That was two days ago. Now, I sit at home; pondering on the future. Hours ago, myself and Malliel sat in the 'Maze', growin in Bree-land. It was an enjoyable time, and we spent the night-hours, gazing at the stars. I found my own, and her's next to mine...but...two, 'neath them. One shone with a reddish glow, the other of fierce orange. Could it be? My love also quizzed where we were to be wed, in Lothlórien. I had put little thought into it; yet a vow once made unto me, came back to mind. It was swore, the day I left. "Hither shalt thou come, and in haste; for within thy heart, great pride thou shalt bear. Let that time come, not in haste like thou shalt. But in my Garden, you will findeth peace." The Lady, Galadriel, spoke these words to me. And I understand, that she has seen my wedding; in her garden. I am joyous at the thought, that I will spend my wedding with many splendours around me; and my wife at my side. |
