Dorella was in Rivendell once again. When she and her companions arrived in the valley, her friends went straight on to the Last Homely House, but Dorella decided to wander the valley alone for while. "It's alright, you go and rest, I like to wander alone here," she said. She didn't feel at all tired from the journey to Rivendell, and she hoped that the extra walk might tire her, so that she would be able to sleep well that night. She wanted to get a good rest in before the next leg of her journey.
Heading west, she climbed upwards for a while before stopping to look north, across the valley. In the failing light of the evening she could just about make out, in the distance, the beginning of the path that would lead her into the Misty Mountains. "A hard and dangerous path", she had been warned, but it looked so inviting from here, leading as it certainly did to adventure and dwarves. Dorella was looking forward to meeting more dwarves.
Yet she hadn't told anyone of her plans to travel into the mountains yet, and she hoped she wouldn't have to make the journey alone.
