I am nearly prepared to set forth from Imladris again. A few more months, perhaps. My time here has been short, but I have met many friendly folk and sung many songs.
My only question now remains: where to go? I long to journey south, into Eregion and beyond, but I cannot shake the idea of heading north and west towards Evendim. The men of Esteldin spoke very highly of it, and I have heard there is a small company of elves there.
Garchadron spoke especially highly of Tinnudir, and the ruins of Annuminas. I should like to see the sunset in a violet sky over indigo waters, and see the reminder of a once-great kingdom. But what of the holly-trees to the south, and the glades and ruins there?
I still have time to decide. Meanwhile, there are many things to attend to here in the Trollshaws before I depart. My equipment has fallen into disrepair, I fear, and will have to replaced before I leave.
And of course, I should like to spend as much time in the Hall of Fire as I can--for whatever road I choose will be lonely, and I will be without company (or at least the company of other elves) for quite some time.
