Frithswith has set off to locate what ever she could and from any source she would stumble upon her healing supplies. Also, to see if anyone needing supplies for wounded men...She headed in the direction of Bree. She knew Burt Ninetails could have all that she would need to help out just in case Balisan was found...
The day was sunny and warm as she road along her route to Bree. Counting her coins as she made her way she hoped Burt would have good items for her to fix up. Her horse would looked back to her she made noises counting her money. Friths looked at her horse and says " I have just enough to buy my healing supplies'. "I'll have extra to get you something for a treat". As she entered Breeland town she saw all the usual folk that either lived in town or was making their travels to and from Bree... She passed the Mayor's house and slowly road towards the Pony...
As she and her horse Sidney made their way up to the Pony Friths headed her towards the stables. Friths spoke to her horse "I'll be right back out then we will see about your treat". She patted her horse and walked into the Pony.
As she entered she could hear music playing up front by the Bar keeper and many folk standing a clapping their hands or dancing in time with the music. Friths had one thing in mind and it was to speak to Burt. She walked past many people as she made her way to the back part of the Pony. Burt! Friths said to him...I'm short of healing potions these days. Did you have anything that I could purchase from you? Burt just looked wide eyed to her and motioned his head into a no. Friths sighed to him...Burt what happened to all your supplies... she asked'? Burt replied that a strange woman had been buying up many of the potions that he and the others had but one item he thought was odd for a healer to purchase was that to sedate a person not to heal...Friths looked to him with a puzzled look. Is there anyone you know that may have the supplies then? Then Burt told her of a gal out in Trestlebridge that could have the items she needed.
Friths had some of her own but she didn't think it would be enough and she wasn't going to be back to Rohan for sometime now. Friths carries with her a white flower her people only know to grow on the graves of their past Kings. This special flower can heal as well as give beauty for the graves of her people.
Friths looks to him and motions a nod "Thanks Burt!" Friths says as she makes her way back through the crowd in the Pony. The room was filled with thick smoke as she went out the door coughing... Then her thoughts turned to her horse now looking to her to see if she had a treat...Aww...Sorry Sid...We have to make our way out to another town. She patted her horse and climbed up on her back only to hear her ninny with a complaint...I know I promised...next one...Friths motioned for her to go forward and they headed out to Trestlebridge...
As Friths rides out to Trestlebridge she takes in the warmth of the day hoping the ride there will be a short one. She looks to her horse and pats her on the side. Soon Sid...soon. Now in Trestlebridge she sees Leigh Putnam standing outside talking with a woman as she rides closer to Leigh. Friths is hoping Leigh has the roots or herbs that Friths can use to make her healing potions but as she nears the two woman the stranger walks off...paying no mind the woman Friths asks Leigh if she has any supplies. Leigh frowns and replies...Sorry I've sold out of every potion, roots and herbs. Leigh tells Friths the woman sitting behind her has just purchased all of her supplies. Looking over Leigh's shoulder Friths walks up to the strange woman. As she gets closer she see she has a pet snake sitting close to her. Friths says to her...So, I hear you have the all of Leigh's healing supplies? Is there anyway that I may purchase any of them from you?
"What kind are you looking for the woman asks?" Friths then returns..."I'm in need of items for healing potions but...you seem to have them all. Friths says smiling. As Friths speaks with her about the potions she wonders if this is the gal that Burt told her that was going around buying up all of their supplies? Then the woman tells her..."Well for the right price I might be willing to part with some and she grins at Friths." How much for healing supplies then?" Friths didn't want to purchase any supplies at a high price so, she waited... but only to learn the woman only had the supplies that were used to make a strong sedatives. Friths wasn't in need of supplies for sedation she was in need of healing supplies and time is running out for her to get the items that will be needed. After hearing the woman speak of using the items for sedation she begins to question of why she would need so much. She needs to let Lady Iaurmenel know what she has learned and very soon...
The woman points out where the roots and herbs can be found so Friths can gather her own. Friths travels along the river banks in search of her roots and herbs...
After gathering the items she needs she now makes her way back into Breeland and to find Lady Iaurmenel...
