The Captain told me to tell her my secret... My lineage... My blood. I want to, also, but Father said to only tell those that I trust, and have already given me their most secret secrets. For now, I am forced to keep going as I do now, unsure of many things.
Funny... I do not know who she is, but she expects me to skin a boar, with a parrying dagger.
I feel as if I have learned a lot, on a short overnight trip, and I feel that I have much to pass on. The Captain was close to having me removed from the Battalion, but I have to persuade her to trust me, and wait for that day.
Father taught me greatly, for one who believes in "Survival of the Fittest", but amongst a group... They are near worthless. Well... Time will tell, I suppose.
