Of Peace, Entry Fifteen

*Isilorbor blows a layer of dust from the cover of the white book and opens it slowly, sweeping away cob webs and smiles warmly to himself, taking a quill and dipping it in the ink*

Entry Fifteen, dated 25th of January, The Thrid Age of Middle Earth

Ah, it has been too long since my last entry. I have placed war behind me so that another of the Defenders may take command, a council will be held to see who does indeed take the role.

As for now, I will take leave to be with my family until such time is needed for my return.

*Drips his quill into the ink well, pausing to gather his thoughts*

Having talked with Lendes, we have decided to to move from Ered Luin back to Bree-Land in hope of getting a large home for us to live in. We found the perfect place, it is be the waterfall and a big enough garden to enterain many guests and ourselves. Lords of Gondor forbid that Lendes teaches me how to manage a garden!

*Chuckles warmly to himself and takes Lendil from Lendes and places him on Isilorbor's lap*

Lendil has grown so much since I left for Mirkwood! I can hardly believe how big he is now....If what Lendes tells me is true, he has missed me so. Indeed, he almost jumped out of Lendes's arms to be in mine...

*Pulls a few funny faces at Lendil and kisses his forehead gently*

I have met Lessel's lover, Aiko. I must say, yet another has heard of my deeds and was somewhat...Nervous in my pensenses. I took him to one side and spoke my mind and heart, he seem to relax...Slightly.

Lenwenn gave me a rather shock when I snuck up behind her in the Pony...I placed my hands over her eyes and asked "Guess who?" To which, and I must say, to my total horror: "One of my many lovers?"

*Grins widely at the joke, at least hoping it is a joke and places Lendil on the table next to him, watching his son playing with a toy rabbit with a soft smile*

My eating habbits have been.....Unhealthy. I cut my finger on a knife and felt the world beneth my feet whirl and tumble away. I had not eaten a decent meal in over....Three months?

*Looks up to Lendil and askes his son the question, only getting half formed words as a replay and says his thanks*

I am rather worried about this new house and Lendil. There is a steep cliff in the garden and I truely fear that Lendil might fall off it. I voiced my fears to Lendes and she said that a fense should be put up she said in her motherly wisdom. So I have been working almost all day on making a twenty meter garden fence of iron to put up, it is hard work, but the reward is worth it. Maybe we could hang roses off them....

*Rubs his nose over Lendil's in a playfull manner and chuckles gently*

I fear I will have to close this entry now, I have to put Lendil to bed and get back to the Forge. Lendes will no doubt try and force some salted pork down my throat, but one cannot complain

*Chuckles and waits for the ink to dry before closing the book, picking Lendil up from the table*
