Lost Letter: Mind of Crabman

This letter is found on a table at the Forsaken Inn, probably mistakenly forgotten by a courier who stayed here overnight.

Crabman,

My research has not gotten me very far. The lizards and worms of the Hollin, Eregion, do not possess any signs of this disease you have nicknamed 'Brainstorm'. I've sent someone to fetch me some lynx samples from the Hollin, as it also seems likely. Keep to the medicine I prescribed- it may not eradicate the problem, but seems to be easing it. I will send another report as soon as this fellow returns with my specimens.

          P.S. Would Sir consider returning my mortar and pestle? It's a valuable piece of alchemical equipment and isn't designed for making Sir spiced and vibrant meals.
