Story

I feel drawn back to Breeland, as it is the perfect place to recruit for my force opposing Lady Hughes.  This time, I was out in search of a vigilante.

I was out in Search of the Black Viper.

And he wasn't hard to find, if you know where to look.

So I went straight to the Prancing Pony and found him standing near the fire with his ally, Harlyn.

I was approached by a young Dwarf who had learned I was gathering allies to form an army, saying I should speak to a Dwarven Noble by the name of Glarr Mudstubbs.  I called for Robyn and the Dwarf led me to Mudstubbs home, where I knocked and was greeted by a stout, gristled Dwarf and two guards.   The Dwarf bade me to leave my weapons at the door, which I did, in part,  keeping my throwing knives hidden.

As I exited the Prancing Pony after confronting Milada, I spotted an old friend of Kerls; a noblewoman by the name of Rhianonn, talking to a group of strangers.  The square was busy, so I could not be seen talking to her. I pulled a small piece of paper from my pocket, scribbling on it "meet me in beggars alley." I then walked past her, my face covered, dropping it close to her foot as I did so.  Then, without turning back, I hastened to the rooftops around Beggars alley to await her.

After meeting with Gerwolf, I made my way to the Prancing Pony Inn, planning to spend one last night in comfort before returning to Thorins Halls.   I pulled open the tavern door, instantly struck by the smell of ale and burning pipe-weed, pushing my way through the crowds to the bar.  I was about to signal to the bartender so I could rent a room when I looked to my right and saw something that made my blood boil.

Milada stood there, draining the bottom of her tankard.

Milada, who had allied herself with Hughes.

I am glad to have retrieved you, my confidante, from the ashen remains of my home. It is a great comfort to again be presented the opportunity to record the happenings of my own personal war against the traitorous mass that name themselves "The Exiled". Their latest attack occurred but five days ere, when they burned my Manor to the ground, resulting in the death of my long-time servant, Gamlan the Elderly.

Story

I recieved a missive from Lord Gerwolf Thalanduin of house Thalanduin in Breeland explaining that he did not believe Lady Hughes version of events in regards to Kerls death and wished to speak to me about it.  Upon hearing this, my heart soared, as I realised he could still be counted as an ally.  I hurried to his Estate, where he informed me that he remained an ally to all who were loyal to Kerls memory, and that we could call on him and his house if we so needed,

Alas! It seems that I spoke true when I predicted that you and I would see one another again. In all honesty, I had hoped that such words would prove false, or that more time would pass ere I was forced to pen down my thoughts in you, this most impromptu collection. Yet, it seems that events have conspired against me...and so too did my Order. So, you shall act once more as my confidante.
