Return to Isengard, Part 2

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The Grey Company crossed at a ford in the River Glanduin into Enedwaith, a once heavily forested region that lay between the north and south kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor, respectively. The kingdom of Arnor had come to an end one thousand years before the present time after years of pestilence and war, most notably against the Witchking of Angmar. The Rangers and their kin were all that remained of the folk of the kingdom that Elendil had established after the drowning of Númenor.

As they need pass Harwick on their travels for Lord Tuibar, the family stop for a short visit with Yllfa's papa, Beornherd. The older man welcomes them warmly and, although he is frailer than he once was, seems keen to keep in contact. It's the first Waelden and Ethel have met him, and Ethel is rather pleased she now has a grandpapa, Waelden's father having died some years before.

There is talk of meeting again soon. It is possible Beornherd may even travel to Bancross.

The aftermath of their encounter in the forest leaves all three family members quite overcome, but in a good way. Yllfa herself seems full of energy in a way she hasn't been for months. They stop to view the Argonath, marking a gateway to Gondor, before they turn their horses back to the small house by Floodwend.

Hrost accompanies them, though often at a distance.

It almost feels like a new start for all.

'The real danger to our kind, is this place is so beautiful, we never want to leave.'

Yllfa has noticed a few armed elves as they have travelled. She suspects there are many more, but she understands what Duncadda means.

The four travellers rest, as instructed, in the Garden of Memories', and listen as the most beautiful songs fills the air.
