Bramblebury Gazette

A letter to the Bramblebury Gazette

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dear sir or madam,

Recently I subscribed to your very informative newsletter. Unfortunately, the past week or two I have received nothing. Is it possible you have misplaced my address due to the recent flurry of burrowswappings? If this is the case then please add my name and address to your list again. That is: Zara, at 5 Brookbank Street, Songburrow, The Shire. I would be most grateful to start receiving the Gazette again as I do enjoy keeping up with the goings on in the Shire.

Yours gratefully,

Zara

Dear Miss Zara,

Miss Akelay did interview me for the Gazette, and it was on the front page!

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Yesterday when I checked my mailbox, I found my own picture on the front page of our Gazette! And there was this interview Miss Akelay did when she last visited me printed in full length!

Chapter fourteen: Learning more.

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Waking up in a unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar guest bedroom, with the smell of an extensive hobbit breakfast being prepared in the background, it took me some moments to realize where I was. Slowly it all dawned to me again: I had met Yola's brother, Peppy, in Bramblebury. It was the best find in my search so far.

Chapter eight: A gazette with bad news!

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I looked around helplessly, the music in the Green Dragon sounded faint and far away as I seemed to go in and out of consciousness a few times. I had to force myself to stay with it, to face what I had found just now.  I had been so happy to find a person, in Stock, who had actually known my real mother Yola, although she could not tell me where I could find her. But now this!
