A letter to the Bramblebury Gazette

Dear sir or madam,

Recently I subscribed to your very informative newsletter. Unfortunately, the past week or two I have received nothing. Is it possible you have misplaced my address due to the recent flurry of burrowswappings? If this is the case then please add my name and address to your list again. That is: Zara, at 5 Brookbank Street, Songburrow, The Shire. I would be most grateful to start receiving the Gazette again as I do enjoy keeping up with the goings on in the Shire.

Yours gratefully,

Zara

Dear Miss Zara,

We are truly sorry that we lost your address in the mayhem of the burrow swappings. But when our surveyors came to your door, they did not find the nameplate on the door and just marked the address as "Occupied", indicating that there is someone living there, but the name is not known.

Meanwhile, all has been corrected again and you will be receiving the Gazette as before. The editions you have missed will be sent as well. At no extra cost, ofcourse.
Thank you for being such an avid reader of the Gazette and for your letter.

With friendly regards,

Peppy Bristlebrush, on behalf of the editorial team.

Dear Master Bristlebrush,

I just wanted to convey my thanks for your prompt reply and await the next installment of the Gazette with anticipation.  It's very kind of you to fix things so quickly. I shall heartily recommend your newsletter to all my friends.

Yours sincerely,

Zara
