Strollers

After an extended break to enjoy the many festivities over the Yule period, the Songburrow Strollers are once again back on the farm yard trail, ready to play music to the many hard working farmers of the Shire.

Following on from their previous concerts at Long Burrow's farm, the Songburrow Strollers are pleased to announce their fourth farm concert which will take place over at Olo Proudfoot's farm in Hobbiton!

Four years ago, two fine hobbits, named Lothilia and Rurydoc, announced they were to be married in the village of Slighting. This was a cause of much celebration and there was much talk of the party that was to be held after the ceremony. In particular, three hobbits from the Grand Order of the Lost Mathom, based in Songburrow, got together to form a band to play music at the party. They named the band "The Songburrow Strollers".

Following on from the previous concert at Farmer Maggot's, the Songburrow Strollers are pleased to announce their next farm concert. Not to be outdone by Farmer Maggot, Milo Bolger has kindly offered up his farm in Budgeford to allow the Strollers to play a special concert for Lithe.

The Songburrow Strollers - Farms of the Shire

After last year's successful tour around Bree land, the Songburrow Strollers felt it only right and proper to return to The Shire, and perform a series of concerts in their home land. In particular they intend to play to the hard-working folk in the various farms across the land, who work tirelessly throughout the seasons, to ensure there is enough food for everyone to have pie on their table!

Over in Breelands, the Lankyshanks seem to be constantly building things. Not only is an Inn being built at Adso's camp, but some fellow called Thornley is working his men hard, and building a whole new farm. It's a hard life, and it is about time these toiling workers were given a taste of real entertainment in the form of hobbit music!

The Songburrow Strollers are pleased to announce their next concert at Thornley's Worksite in the Northern Breefields, on Sunday 17th July. The third of their planned Breeland concerts, following on from their successful concerts in Buckland and Staddle.

For many hobbits, the thought of living beyond the Bounds is just too strange to contemplate, but there are hobbits who choose to do such a thing. Over in Staddle there is a community of hobbits who happily farm the land there, although they must surely long for The Shire in their hearts.

So, to give these distant hobbits a taste of the Shire, the Songburrow Strollers are pleased to announce their next concert in the village of Staddle on Sunday 8th May. The second of their planned Breeland concerts, following on from their successful concert in Buckland.
