Shire: Four

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The next morning, the rain returned with a vengeance. He thought the previous clear, sunny day was a cruel tease now, as he found himself completely sodden and cold yet again.

His cloak held up against the downpour as well as a could be expected, considering its tattered condition, which is to say that mostly it clung very heavily around his body from absorbing excess water.

The rain subsided the next day, for which the traveler was glad. The wet and cold of the previous day had been uncomfortable, and were it not for Kitten's fire-building abilities he would have been in far worse shape for it. He slid on his crisply-dried clothing and followed the girl back to the main road.

They awoke the next morning, still dismally soaked as the skies had poured out copious amounts of rainwater on them overnight. The traveler's clothes hung on the tree branch as he'd placed them, clinging together in a wet bundle of shabby fabric. The cloak he wore around him withstood the torrential downfall somewhat better, but he knew they'd be starting out their day completely sodden.

The Shadow Walkers: There And Back Again

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

After Katrandil was mostly healthy, our three friends made their way out of Forochel and went back to Evendim. They camped in Parth Aduial, in the High King's Crossing, where some other rangers had also camped.

[This is also where Ornessar saw The Unpleasant Dream. More about it can be found in http://laurelinarchives.org/node/39111]

The midday sun warmed the crisp winter air considerably, though the wind had a bite to it outside the walls of Bree. The roads looked clear as there were few others about their business that day once they passed the gates.

Hide and Seek, On To Bree-lands

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

There he was, his old mate, right where Hoggs hoped he would be!  Dwimmer was waiting on the south side of the monument, facing Thorin's Gate on his well packed goat.  Not only could Hoggstari see what looked like bundles of provisions, there was a fair sized keg sitting on top of the packs that were positioned behind Dwimmer.  The Outfitter could always count on his friend to think of everything important to Dwarven exploration.

Matters Concerning Pindon Village and its History

Author:
This repository of Pindon's history is being compiled by Maudie Maywort under the direction of Mayor Breona Twilburr.

Though this Chronicle was originally a collection of notary papers, town historian Maudie Maywort has been diligently recording old stories and carefully researching the town's history so that all Pindon citizens may have a record of their heritage. Items will slowly be added as they are compiled and investigated for accuracy.

Vagabond meets Skylark

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

I dived deep in this, just as skylark in her flight with song on my lips and heart. It brings a lot of joy to me to see him, that warm feeling when he is near, for the time we share same direction, path or fate.

He followed me all trough my return to Bree, a foreigner to this lands, Southerner but not of the kind we usually see here. Ruddy, travel worn and large as oak tree, that i must climb on as in my childhood.
