A Poem about Flowers

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Here's a song about some flowers
Growing with each springtime shower
They bring fresh colours each new hour
Red and pink and yellow and blue
All paint the fields with lovely hues

Bluebells, Bluebottles, so much blue!
They sparkle with fresh morning dew
Blue petalled faces smile for you
Rubbing gently against your feet
Blue woodland carpets smell so sweet

A Hobbit Ode to Fluffy Creatures of The Shire

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

There are many fine things in the Shire which daily remind you what a wonderful place it is, but possibly none more so than small fluffy creatures!

Fluffy Creatures of The Shire

In the meadows
Are some bunnies
Bunny hopping
Aren't they funny?
The rabbits dance
When it's sunny
Give a cheer
For fluffy bunnies

Hear the miaows
Of small kittens
Soft and cuddly
Like warm mittens
Don't prod them
You'll get bitten
Just give some hugs
To fluffy kittens

Travels around the Shire - A Poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Let's all meet
Up in Waymeet
With walking shoes upon our feet
On the fires we'll bake some pies
And with bellies full, we'll wave goodbye

To the burrows
In Tuckborough
We'll tread a very happy furrow
In Great Smials we'll read some books
Great Legends of the family Took

Let's hop along
To Hobbiton
And stay there 'til the sun is gone
Dipping our toes in the cool stream
By the party tree we'll sit and dream

The Battle of Greenfields Poem

The Battle of Greenfields

I'll tell you a tale from times long ago
It must have been two hundred years or so
Hobbits lived happily, tilling their ground
And Michel Delving was not such a big town!

With birds singing softly in the tall trees
Grass in the fields swaying in a cool breeze
Nothing could disturb the peace of the Shire
Until the day Bounders caught sight of a fire

A Mighty Small Adventure - A poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

In Little Delving there lived alone
A little hobbit, in his little home
Being brave and bold, with fancy thoughts
A big adventure was what he sought.

One spring morning, under golden sun
He sprang out the door, and away did run
To Michel Delving, he soon arrived
A mighty town, it thronged and thrived

At the Bird and Baby, he drank an ale
Whilst a bearded longshanks told a tale
Of flowing fountains and golden trees
Of Fame and Fortune, found in Bree!

Deep underground danger awaits
