This chronicle is recorded by Tinnurion, former servant of the House of Eöl.

It is a distinct pleasure to tell you of Tinnurion, a servant in the household of Eöl the Dark Elf, King Thingol's most curious vassal. Tinnurion served as a butler, though the word falls short of the labour he carried out. In this chronicle is recounted his years of service in the realm of Nan Elmoth.
