Nimlith's speech in the Hall of Fire

Story

((OOC: This is taken directly from the chat transcript, so not up to a higher standard of literature :) I have edited out irrelevant /say and /emote as well as removed a bit of cross conversation. This only reflects the main part of her speech, and is therefore not complete - there were more people present, and quite a bit more /emoting going on than you see here.

A prisoner is moved

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

"I shall not take orders from a... human!" The Orc spat.
"And what should you do with a prisoner here, with Dwarves and Elves sneaking around, and an invasion to run?" The leader of the Dunlendings smiled coldly. "We shall deliver her to our lord. Those are the Old Man's orders, you know. All prisoners to be delivered to him for questioning."

The Orc Raid

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The Orc raid had started well; coming down from the hills they had attacked the small hamlet and received little resistance from the farmers. Now the prisoners were bound together in a line, taking the prisoners alive would keep the meat fresher. Then, just as they had begun to set light to the houses and barns, on the crest of the hill a figure on a horseback had appeared. As he was mounted he would be able to easily outdistance the Orcs who were on foot so the Orcs had no real interest in pursuing him. But instead of riding away the figure dismounted and walked towards the Orcs.

Nimlith vanishes - pt.2

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
Pain. She was aware of movement, and of having travelled a distance. This place did not feel familiar. As she rose further into consciousness, the extent of the pain hit her. She could remember feeling the spear glancing off her bone, the shock of being pierced. The wound throbbed and a sharp pain shot through her body whenever she tried to move. With a sudden cold realization she knew she would not be able to walk for a while.
