| Outward Appearance | Wearing the black tabard over a light chainmail tunic characteristic of a Nost-en-Ithil Draug complemented by two straight blades of possibly Noldorin craftsmanship, Elennore Rainethnîr presents an... unusual picture. The moon-badge of her Mirkwood-elven house is etched on every piece of her equipment, and she wears it proudly, even though she seems to no longer have any contact with them. On the ring-finger of her right hand is a silver engagement ring, but in her eyes some may see a withdrawal, a sense of unspoken loss. She only rarely speaks the common tongue of men, though she is just as fluent in it as in her native Sindarin. |

Background
Born in Lindon, Elennore was sent to the Refuge of Edhelion for her schooling under the oversight of Talagan Silvertongue. Unfortunately, Elennore's education was cut short by the attack of Skorgrim and his Dourhands upon Edhelion. Although she survived the attack, Elennore was scarred for life. No longer is she a peaceful scholar -- she has become instead a warrior whose rage is terrible to behold.
(Note: Elennore's role at Edhelion was that of a civilian; she was NOT a hero by any means. Also, she probably was not very familiar with Talagan Silvertongue; he would have known her instructor and probably would have known that she existed, just like any other elf then at the refuge.)
Current rp: Elennore now goes everywhere wearing the garb of mourning for her betrothed who journeyed into the Lonelands--and never returned. Deprived of the one elf she could ever love, and feeling now that a wide gulf exists between her and those she knows, Elennore still remains in Middle Earth, for a tiny spark of hope burns still within her.
Note: "Elennore" is probably a corruption of the name her mother gave her, "Elianor", which can be translated as "Swift Helper." She chose to use this name even before journeying to Edhelion; more recently, she began introducing herself by the eppese (nickname, or title) of "Rainethnîr", that is, "the Tearful Wanderer", or "the Tearful Wandering Maiden."
