The Road To Lyndelby

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Five leagues east of Karningul,
Where the Last Homely House looks west,
Beyond the road and over hill,
There lies a land that knows no guest.

The road goes on, the road goes on,
Through rain and wind and fading light,
And those who seek the hidden door
May find it—or be lost by night.

Dwarven Caravan Market

Come one and all to the Dwarven Caravan Market! This is a Dwarven-themed RP market event that will take place EVERY Thursday at a different trading settlement along the major trade route used by Dwarves to get to their mines in the Blue Mountains. This trade route will take the Dwarven Caravan Market through Thorin’s Hall, Gondamon, Needlehole, Bree, Ost Guruth, Rivendell, Gloin’s Camp, and other settlements of interest for the Dwarves. And every market will have a unique RP situation to connect it to the context of a wider Middle-Earth.

The Dwarves of the Jiret-menesh Expedition meet the famous Kholtekh in the Dar Laja in Umbar Baharbel! They offer a tribute in the form of Dwarven ale from the north! Kholtekh takes a liking to it and to express his gratitude he offers to buy several crates of this ale. He even goes so far as to provide to them many of the supplies they will need for their journey ahead. But with this apparent kindness Kholtekh also reminds them that he will be watching...

The Nameless Fear

Kinship Type:
Mixed
Kinship Status:
Active and recruiting
Background:

In the years after great wars shattered kingdoms and broke alliances, whispers began spreading across Middle-earth of a wandering shadow with no banner, no nation, and no master. Villages burned without warning. Travelers vanished upon lonely roads. Ancient ruins were desecrated. Fear itself became their herald. They became known only as The Nameless Fear. The kinship is a gathering of evil souls united by chaos, ambition, hatred, greed, vengeance, or simple delight in cruelty. Some worship darkness openly, others merely use it for power.

Feveren at thirty-three years of age.

[The hobbit] looked quizzically at the young Green-elf's face and shook his head. 'I know nowt of Elves, to be sure, but by your manner I might've deemed that you were just out of your tweens yourself!'
'Indeed I am, by elven reckoning!' replied Feveren. 'For among my people I am deemed but lately full-grown!' And in his mind flashed the thought of himself wellnigh a score of years before.

The Sun Rising Over the Yondershire

The wind had changed, bringing banks of billowing clouds down from the North, but the sun had risen above them and now shone over the treetops, bathing the world in morning light. But little of the land beyond could the elf-lad see through the trees that crowded the slopes along the road.

But from your words and thought, I guess that Hobbits can be of divers clans, and so it is with Elven-kind.
