Through the course of Arassien’s fate, the missing grove is found! It has thrived through the years, large enough for the dwarves to ensure a supply of timber when the numbers of Falathlorn are too few to continue their tithe to the Havens. There is yet more to be overcome before we can return with the good news, but I can now be assured that the remaining groves of the Ered Luin need not be endangered to fulfil the demands of the White Ships. At least, not whilst we still dwell there.

The force of the impact knocked him off his feet, throwing him hard against the wall. For a long time, Khardun just lay there, his heart pounding against his ribs. Slowly he slid his hands under him, wincing as his skinned palms scraped against grit, and pushed himself up. A fine grey dust of pulverized rock hung in the freezing air and in his beard. He rubbed his eyes. 

We did not see nor hear from Parnard the following day. I was not totally surprised. We both knew we had disappointed him, but we could not do as he wished, and help him find his stolen armour in Gondor.
