Event details:
The threshold between Firith and Rhîw - a time for remembrance and contemplation. Let us gather for a night dedicated to Nienna, to remember the friends and family waiting for us in the Halls of Mandos, those having moved beyond the confines of this world, the deeds of old and the places long lost beneath the sea. Yet Nienna has not only taught us grief, but also how to endure, how to find light in the darkness and in this night of memories and hope we will allow both to take space: the light and the darkness.
Please bring a few contemplative words, a story about something or someone you lost and would like to be remembered, or a piece of music – for music has the power to draw us together and ensure that important deeds are not forgotten. And together we will find the glimmer of hope and of light in our shared history and our shared future

The event location, while in character located in Rivendell, is in game located in Tol Falthui, Cirith Lunt, Belfalas Homesteads. The easiest way to get there: From inside any of the Eriador or Rohan homesteads, visit the Far Ranging Stablemaster, choose “Belfalas Homesteads” and enter the gateway, choosing Cirith Lunt and then traveling to the docks, take the first boat to Tol Falthui. It says "home of Silmendili" once you walk up the path turn to the left and you will find our friendly gathering a bit further back in the garden. If the housing bug happens, it might help to take the boat back to the mainland and relog, then take the boat back to the island.
This is a small scale seasonal RP event, organised by friends for new friends. Of course everyone is welcome, as long as their character has a reason to be in Rivendell.
Some guidelines:
- Stay in character
- Choose stories and music that fit into Middle Earth and relate to the tone of the event
- Keep your performance in a length that doesn’t make you the sole entertainer of the evening
- Avoid using forced emotes, setting off fireworks inside, etc. (the usual stuff)
Most important rule: Have a good time!
