Event details:
Every Tuesday afternoon, the servants and common-folk of Edoras gather at the ford west of Edoras, under the watchful eye of the sentry-towers and walls. They tend to the washing while keeping an eye on the children running up and down the riverbank with their small boats, as others up and down stream seek more quiet spots to fish. Travellers from all over Rohan pass by the activity on their way to the town, and the folk there always hope they carry news.
Everyone is welcome to drop by, participate, or simply watch. The river's edge is a haven for more than just chore-work in the high summer heat.
The area is free of mobs if one sticks to the road and the east-bank of the river, so lower-levels shouldn't have trouble. If you are not of high enough level to get summoned or ported to Edoras, there two Mithril Coin travel options:
1. 1 MC from Bree's South Gate to Helm's Deep, then 1 MC from Helm's Deep to Edoras. (2 Total)
2. 2 MC using the Stable-Masters map in Collections if you have the Edoras stable-master already discovered. It is 5 MC if you do not. (2 or 5 Total)
