I've arrived in Bree last night, when I entered the town I saw some folk staring at me rather strangely, I thought of no ill of it. I toke a tour of the town alone and got a feel of where and what everything is, I toke notice of a interesting inn, The Prancing Pony. I sauntered into this inn and found it quite busy, I glanced at the hearth then to the counter, both weren't -that- busy. I walked up to the counter and ordered a mug of warm cider, I glanced around the inn until I felt the loud clunk the mug hit the counter. I toke the cup and went to the hearth, it was roaring, I enjoyed it's warmth with two others, Xanderian and her cousin, both elves, it was interesting to talk with them and see why they have came to Bree. Later that day in the afternoon I talked with Audea for a short time then I drifted toward a lovely painter,Julyah she complemented my clothing, it's hue of glacier blue, she also complemented my mother and her craftsmanship with making the color. Sadly it seems her business as a painter isn't doing so well, not many people buy art in these times she said. I asked her if she would like a mental image of Forochel, I told her this, Think of snow, no grass in sight but snow, see the snow-dusted trees, hear the howls of the saber-tooth, hear the trampling of the mammoths and see the bay with it's ice glaciers and it's frozen waters. I told her that I am lacking a job, I thought about mercenary work or hunting, by the sea spirits was I glad to find her as she needed the skull of a badger, she said she would pay me decently for it.
I went to the counter for yet another refill of warm cider, I was surprised to that it's very good, while I was waiting for it I heard someone speak about an wood-mill, I was interested in it and I thought I would make myself known, I asked the man whose name appears to be Griffyth if the wood-mill is hiring but sadly it isn't. I introduced myself none-the-less and met him and Haritha both friendly. I left the counter and the two and headed to a table where I met a soldier, Fallmir of Gondor, I asked him why he isn't in Gondor and it appears he is a banished soldier although he continues to server Gondor with pride and honor. He was stationed at Osgiliath, once the Capital of Gondor until Minas Tirith was built, It was then turned into a border-guard or a outpost to watch the lands of Mordor. It is most strange why he was banished but it appears to be by the steward himself, whoever that is, it seems he enjoys being a soldier although his Armor was in bad shape which can only mean that he has been one for a long time. His description of being a soldier was this, "'Doing your duty faithfully, obeying your orders without a question and stand the line when you are needed to." I am glad that I learn more and more about these lands, close and far away, although sometimes it pains be to learn somethings. I've talked with Emanda yesterday, a orphan, I asked her where her parents are and sadly they left without telling her where or when they will return but I am saddened to know that ones parents would do this. I assumed that she has a guardian, I think the man with the axe,Kristopher is her guardian but he told me that he only protects her and deals with the people that crosses her, it's noted to never cross her. I did talk with Haritha, Gerlof and Ainsleigh again about jobs and such although I don't quite like Gerlof, he seems to be of the obnoxious and rude sort but I suppose I will have to endure his company when I need to. It seems that Kristopher if he has the time that is and Amanda and a man named Dryn are going to that Yule Festival, I asked if I could come and I can, this festival will probably be great fun.
