A Battle in the Pony

It was on the day that I met Yurri that I was part of the brawl, and what a brawl it was. I saw Claery there, up at the bar, getting drunk with a strange woman in a daft looking hat, and a man I haven't seen before. I decided not to pay them attention this time, I wanted a peaceful drink, and given the events of our last meet, I knew that things would not go well. I instead went to speak with the stranger by the fireplace, the dwarf that turned to out to be Yurri. I had begun to talk with the dwarf, when from somewhere by the bar, a tankard hit Yurri in the face. This sparked him to confront the stranger drinking with Yurri, only for blasted Claery to throw yet another tankard, this time at me!

I have to say I lost myself at this, how dare she after all! I charged her, slamming her against the bar, only to have the stranger that Yurri faced try to shove me against the wall. By this point I was furious, and I pushed of the wall to give the man and good kick to the knee. He went down and I gave him a good kicking to make sure he stayed down. I'd lost track of Yurri, though I could see the brawl had quickly spread at the foot of the bar.

What I hadn't seen was the blasted Watch walk in, about three or four of them. I spotted one when they confronted me, a girl. I later found her name to be Nessya. She grabbed me by the shoulder, told me to stop fighting. I disliked the law bad enough, but this? They need to know when to keep out of people's business. I went to kick her in the knees, but she blocked it surprisingly easily. I wasn't willing to let her off though, and drove my fist into here gut, it slowed her down, only for that fool from earlier to try and get into the fight. I charged him as Nessya shoved me, sending me and him onto the floor. I proceeded to beat him about the face as he protected himself as best he could. I made sure to persuade him to leave me alone using my head and elbow, and it worked.

As I stood, I saw Claery and the woman in the hat struggling with a watcher later I found his name to be Danwick. I saw another to my right, and Nessya and Yurri struggling by the fire. I charged her, sending us both tumbling to the floor by the fire. I proceeded to use my skull and elbow to beat her, and there was little she could do.

It was at this point that another stranger entered the inn and join the brawl. His name was Hawther I found out after, and he got stuck in immediately. He called out to me and threw a chair my way. I was able to roll out of the way so it hit Nessya, and I was then able to use it to beat her into submission, an action I can say I took pleasure in. I also took a swing at Danwick, but he moved, taking surprisingly well placed swings at my face. He was joined by a hooded figure I found in a later meeting to be called Hesagor. While Danwick was swinging, he kicked my hard in the chest, sending me spinning back, chair still in hand. I came to face Yurri being attacked by that watcher I saw earlier. As I swung the chair for him, Hawther punched him in the jaw. He rolled away from the blow so the chair shattered against the bar. Then the damn fool had to spoil the fun and draw a blade.

Yurri had taken a beating and was collecting the amour he had scattered around the inn. Me, Yurri and Hawther decided to make our exit as another watcher entered, their leader by the look of things. Us three left through the back door, cheering from the rush of the battle. We were chased for a while by a woman out of the pub, but she left us after Hawther scared her off. It was a truly excellant battle till that one watcher spoilt the fun for everyone, but it was good while it lasted.
