Constable A. Welstan
Tuesday Evening to Wednesday Morning
Personal Patrol Log Entry # 1
Little to No Activity
Our patrol held little strategic value this evening. We made our rounds for several hours, making small talk and the like. Until we were approached by a young girl who claimed she was bored and wished to follow us. There is nothing illegal about walking near a Watchman, so Townsend and I allowed her her request. She was, however, ordered to stay back should a crime occur. In truth, her small talk of romance and her curiosity about the job helped the night to pass quickly.
Eventually she wandered off on her own, free of any criminal intervention. I think she may have implied that Towns and I were involved romantically, though I can't be sure. What a ridiculous notion in any case! Why do people keep saying that?
Conclusion: Nothing unusual today. The young girl following us seemed innocent enough, though if she returns I will have to pursue questioning as to her motives.
