Captain's Quick Report: A Forest of OAKS!

A festival of music, a gathering of folk tall and small!  That was today, Master Reader -- the Forest of OAKS anniversary concert -- an outstanding celebration from a year's worth of musicians and bands; each having played in at least one of the monthly OAKS (Oldfurlong Amazing Koncert Series) events at some point or another in the last year.

And what a gathering, of bands and audience!  Perhaps, to provide you some reference, Master Reader, see the attached "Forest of OAKS: order of playing", a total of eleven bands or so!  Each having agreed to return for this anniversary celebration of the OAKS organized with Miss Acorne's help!

I'm afraid words just won't do it from my end of the quill, Master Reader.  As a matter of truth, I couldn't even begin to describe the music and melodies to you myself through writing if I could -- the crowds were so grand in spirit and numbers that right now that is all my mind can recall -- so instead I'll leave that be for others to handle; there were tales going on about that some folk were making moving pictures of some sort of this event -- quite different from my unmoving sketches and drawings I'm about to submit with this early report!  Hoho!

I now leave you to it, Master Reader -- perhaps through these draft sketches, drawings and paintings on my behalf, you might gain a more true glimpse into the grandeur and beauty of all these folk come together in celebration of music; A Forest of OAKS!

Outstanding, and the highest congratulations to Miss Acorne and everyone involved!  Beyond words, beyond words, I tell you!

Signed,

Captain Naismithea Willarc

Watcher of Roads
Representative of the Bree Captain's Guild
Officer of the Sworn Wanderers
