Dwarrows of Frithdal

In the two-thousandth and sixty third year of the Third Age, the dragon's terror was ended. For decades the great stone halls of the Blue Mountains were humbled by this beast, whose fire and lust for gold was untamable. The ancient dwarf-city of Frithdal was his lair, where years before the dragon had claimed the mountain to house its vast hoard.

The Broadbeam Valantris alone stood against the Drake in the Dark, finally slaying the beast after days of ceaseless battle. Emerging from the shadowy ruins of Frithdal, Valantris the Great succumb to his fatal wounds, knowing that with his death a new dynasty was born. His son, Bralthris, declared himself the first Lord of Frithdal, claiming the city and the dragon's hoard for his own. We Fear No Darkness!

"The Dwarves indeed proved tough and hard to tame; they ill endure the domination of others, and the thoughts of their hearts are hard to fathom, nor can they be turned to shadows."

A millennia has past since the slaying of the dragon, and still the House of Valantris rule the proud and ancient realm of Frithdal. Lord Salgalin Wisebeard, descendant of Valantris the Great, however, does not govern in peace. With ongoing threat from Mordor in the East and growing unrest in the Blue Mountains, Lord Salgalin's Steward has summoned all Dwarves to aid the Frithdalian Council in defending the realm and the House of Valantris. Will you answer the summons?

​As of 16/07/2016 (D/M/Y), the kinship's website has switched to 'http://dwarrowsoffrithdal.shivtr.com/' - this site now serves as a lore repository of the kinship. As such, it may, or may not, be of particular use to those outside of the kinship. The old website is heavily outdated, and the great majority of the lore found there is no longer canon.
