Facing my Demons

Blince slowly made his way to the grave he erected for his deceased wife; Triche. And his deceased daughter; Bianca. He stops infront of it, staring a moment before drops onto one knee.

"Hello, Love... My Lil' Bee..." He mutters to himself, the nicknames bringing back happy memories. He draws out his Rohirric Officer's Sword and per his own ritual dictates he slams it into the ground, making sure half of the blade stuck out. He tightens his hand around the hilt, and lays his free-hand over his heart, and finally places his forehead against the top of the hilt.

He peers at the ground for a short moment before his eyes close, and he begins breathing steadily. His mind races, thinking of memory after memory. Both being pleasant and unpleasant, occasionally both. He remained as such, a silent statue who internally was as loud as a banshee.

He remained as a statue, as a monument to his dead family for three days, but he didn't actually know how long time had passed. He just kept reliving memories, and apologizing over and over, explaining how much he tried to save them. The silence answered him, as it had the entire time, giving it's comments back. Nothing. They were gone, but Blince couldn't wholly accept that.

After the three days, he pushed himself up, sheathed his blade and let out a sigh. "Farewell, you two... I'm sorry..."

He set out the next day afterwards, heading forward to try and find Everlyse, to face that last demon before he can let himself rest.
