The Book - Entry 2

The Book

Journal Entry 2

My my! Today was a busy day! It's been a couple of weeks since my last entry... Since I just started to come out and join in on all the hobbit-y fun!

Green Dragon Fridays are very enjoyable, many things to do.. whether it's dancing or singing or reciting poetry or drinking!

I just went to my first Michel Delving Market today.. well I had been to one before, but only for the last few minutes. There was plenty of well played music here today by Miss Lina and Master Mellam! I bought a whole bunch of things; farming, tailoring, and cooking tools from the grand craftsman Miss Nimelia. 10 wonderful dace from Master Ponso for my mushroom and dace dish! And, I got two very marvelous gifts from Miss Rubellita, a necklace and bracelet! What wonderful crafting and fishing talents do these hobbits have!  I got the first buyer and last buyer discount too! Both from Nimelia! Well, I wasn't really the last buyer, because at the absolute last second Ponso sold 5 more fish! Tch, poor Nimelia! She'll be able to have first and last buyer next time!

And last but not least, I went on an adventure today! One of many... With a ranger from Bree! I defeated a Cargul with his help.. and Amdir.. remember Amdir? From Archet? Poor man. I also had a little chat with a woman in the Prancing Pony Inn.. I had accidentally called her an elf, which insulted her very much! She went on about how "there is no such thing as elves in Bree." My, but I saw a few just in the main room? Bree-folk are so queer!

It seems I am done helping all the hobbits I can help in the Shire! Time to press on to Bree! I'll be back in the Shire soon, of course... I have to adventure! However queer that is for the older generation... us younger lads and lasses have had a taste for adventure ever since Bilbo Baggins came back from the mountain! Of course, jobs will never cease in the Shire, with Holly Hornblower making batches upon batches of pies and delivering them to folk all around the Shire! And with the postmen at the Quick Post asking us to do their job for them! Aye aye, I'll be back soon...

Ooh, from tunics to fishes to Carguls to bree-folk! What's next in my adventures? I haven't even begun!
