April showers brought May flowers!

After a long and rainy April, spring seems to finally have taken hold in the temperate regions of Eriador this May.
The Elves rang in the season with a beautiful procession in Ered Luin, singing songs and casting seeds into the wind to spread the beauty to the lands. The procession was led by Galvathalion of the order of the Calarind, having only recently travelled south to join with the Loth-i-Lonnath. Elf gardeners are hoping for a rich summer after this long delayed spring. Many songs and blessings were needed to wake the blossoms this year. However the shrew infestation of the recent weeks seems to have been contained for now, and we can look forward to another hopefully good vintage from the Celondim vineyards this autumn.
Even in the Shire and in Bree-Land, spring celebrations are in full bloom. Spontaneous dancing circles have been spotted in Hobbiton and Bree and concerts are scheduled far into June. It is expected that the Elves will as well continue to attempt to bring the spring spirit to the lands of Eriador whom spring has not reached yet.
