Ancient repository opens its doors

The ancient Grey Repository has spent a long time collecting knowledge from ages past and storing them in their archives in Rivendell. With the war in the east getting ever closer and the elves' numbers dwindling, the Keeper of the Scrolls, Calenon, decided to end the secrecy of the Repository and hand it over to the younger races.
This big change in the customs of the Repository caused some arguments between the scribes, resulting in a few of them leaving their posts, or so sources say. It is a fact however that new scribes have been recruited from among dwarves, hobbits and men.
Among other things in the old archives are the census books of the old kingdom of Arnor, which inspired Calenon to use the Repository to record information from what must be the end of an age, one way or another. He urges the free people to make themselves known and make sure they are remembered after they're gone and this age has ended.
As they start preparations to move the archives west, the Repository's scribes stand ready to aid anyone willing to register themselves in the new census books of Eriador. No longer for taxation, but for posterity.
