Our purpose lies clear before us: While the hordes of Mordor and the Easterlings approach Rhovanion, begin to invade Mirkwood, the Elves of Thranduil's were forced to retreat into the north of the lands, beyond the Old Forest Road.
Ever more daring become the Orcs and dark, savage beings that threaten our diminished people and borders.
Now with the landing of Celeborn's Galadhrim the time has finally come to re-take and safeguard what was taken from us!
An attempt to bring RP into Mirkwood and Lorien, where the situation requires strong arms, brave hearts and sharp minds!
Expeditions of exploration, patrols to keep the borders save and skirmishes against the enemy will be executed from Lothlórien or Ost Galadh.
Few of Number, Many of Heart
The Tirn, under the leadership of Grandmaster Yárilyion is a group of Elves, mixed in heritage but bound in determination and the will to defend the land. Each member of the Tirn is highly valuable and unique in his or her own field, may it be that of a warrior, a scout, a diplomat or tactician. Sometimes the members may be scattered around Eriador, ready to be called in for duty.
The Watch of Mirkwood, with its apprentices, members and councils are however no conquerors. They live to re-establish or to preserve the peace in the lands of Thranduil, sometimes extending their hand to Lorien or further on request for aid.
On to many Duties
As a Tirn it is your duty to help those who are in need and to not be selfish in regards to what you may gain of it. Escort those who are in peril, save whose life is in danger and strike down those who have allegiance to the Dark Lord.
As said, every member is an important part to our all success.
Patience and Unseen
We must understand that our numbers are small and as glorious as victory on open field might be, such we could not win. It lies in our virtue that we must be patient and await the right moment to save as many resources as we can. Unseen between the trees, that is how each one of us should move. The enemy cannot fight what he cannot see.
All Elves are welcome to join in this project, no matter of their vocation or occupation, for there are many different qualities needed. Men and Dwarves have long since not been our allies and although we might be willing to let them fight among us, they will not gain insight to our plans and meetings.
A channel has been set up for server-wide communication so that we all may keep in contact.
The Requirements must of course be met: An access to Lorien as well as to Mirkwood, (Access to Caras Galadhon is not required but easy to get.)
There will be monthly meetings and councils, steadily pushing forward our advance or if the battles go ill, preparing and organizing our retreat. Spontaneous RP of patrols, messenger walks or any sort is strongly encouraged.
