Growing up in the far south of the Vales of Anduin , near the borders to Lothlorien , Randutha had a natural affinity for nature and the herbs and flowers of the Vale

So it was only natural that when she was old enough , she was apprenticed by her father Beorn Haradson to the wise woman or healer in the next village to learn her craft.

She excelled at this and in time when the old healer passed , then Randutha took on the mantle of healer to the clan and the surrounding villages , and there she may have stayed but the gods decreed otherwise

Returning home after one trip to renew her stocks of herbs she spied smoke on the horizon , smoke from the direction of her village

Hurrying home she was met with the sight of her village inn ruins, houses collapsed and burning with the bodies of the villagers strewn about where they'd fell.

Amongst the bodies of the villagers , there was also Goblin corpses showing the villagers had fought back but to no avail

Rushing to her families home she came across her mother Aelfrith , bleeding from many cuts and her father lying surrounded by the bodies of the goblins that had sought to rob them

Even with her healing , the injuries taken by her mother were too severe and she passed away in Randuthas arms , but her father survived , in body that is but his mind was ever afterwards with his wife

After the funeral Randuthas made a decision that changed her life

Though her arts had failed to save her mother , it was a tragedy that she would try and prevent happening to others if she could

With her fathers blessing she took her leave and travelled southward , spending time with the elves in Lothlorien learning of the healing practices and becoming over time a much more accomplished healer but it wasnt enough .and  she travelled further south into the human lands of Rohan , where upon the plains and meadows of Kingstead she found her home in the small village of Aswith with the blessing of the local Thane

Plying her trade there , she was soon recognized as a healer of unsurpassed skill and was in constant demand due the ongoing incursions of orcs and such into the surrounding lands until Sauron was defeated and the war finished giving her , for a while at least..... peace

But that still wasn't enough and she left her home and again traveled across middle earth until eventually after crossing into Eriador she arrived in the Breelands where she currently helps all in need
