This list is intended as an alphabetical by surname catalogue of characters roleplayed as straight Bree-landers living in or near Combe, be they Big or Little Folk, and as an aid for the players to create pre-existing relationships between characters, out of the assumption that a character living in Combe his whole life would at the very least be acquainted with some others.

It was after his meeting with the 'Ripper', that Dagramir began to fear for those close to him... He tried everything in his power to keep them safe, and that's exactly what he thought he had done by taking Francheska to Combe, to hide her in a derelict house. Time passed, and Francheska was safe. He would regularly come to check up on her, at least twice a day, to get her food, supplies and anything she needed. But this was where he had made his second mistake... On his usual trip up, he frowns slightly, seeing the candle that was usually bright, rather dim.

Another day in Combe, went by as all the others do. As always, I am up early in the morning, as soon as the sun rises, I got into my clothes and woke Martis up, he is a good lad, always helping me out on the farm. Today for a change I told him to see to the chickens whilst I see to the pigs, he did as he was told with a tired yawn and went to work. It took a while to get these pigs right, need them good for the market.

Barraden had business in Bree and some of the smaller villages around Bree. He stopped in the Hunting Lodge, as arranged, to speak with the seer before leaving to travel westward. Lyfrid expected he would be gone a good long while, she knew where he was going and why. After all, it was her reading of the runes in answer to his question that sent him west. Now it was left to her alone to collect the ransom, assuming it was paid. She had a plan
