Entry Twelve: Exile

Diary

Entry Twelve: Exile

It has been long, since one parted the pages of this journal. Not since that of the Misty Mountains and that of the banishment of the company from the vale. Much has happened since the day one’s wound would heal and it was time to depart from Imladris. Khalis truly showed friendship, risking his position to spare one’s own banishment. One will be forever grateful to Khalis, till the end of his days amongst these lands.

A Shade Remains...

I finally arrived. The Black Chasm better known as Moria. I would stand in front of the entrance to the once rich mine, only to notice another mark to prove that Lirita had passed here before me. An Elvish Dagger, crafted long before my time. We had spoken of how much I had admired it in the past, on occasion. But why would she leave such a thing that would prove useful to her within the mine? I could not say, but when taking it and binding it to my belt I felt as though she was with me. I would send the horse given to me by Halbrandth, on its way, as I would have no further use for it.

As one would stand awaiting that of the rest of the Company, he would gaze at the wonders that Imladris beholds.

Begining of the End...

Scrapping and clawing, I finally made it. The first glimpse of daylight certainly rejuvenated my energy for a brief moment. Who knows how long I lay within the Black Dens...

We had finally reached our destination...

Time...

Story

Time... It never stands still... Days turned into weeks, weeks into months. It only felt as though it was yesterday, that Lirita and I sat amongst those in Tinnudir Keep. Word had reached that of Calenglad, of a foul presence beginning to plague that of Enedwaith. A company was set with the task to investigate and set forth on the long journey. Myself, known for not remaining in a single place to long had offered his service. Lirita, at first was hesitant of the task.

Your Will... My Hands...

One had much to think of. Lost memories of my parents, Taol and Migyon returned to thought... Would Lirita and I remain here in Evendim among the Wardens of Annúminas... Who would next try to claim the bounty on my head...

The Race of Men is Fickle...

Story

The Race of Men is fickle... Their minds changing at the slightest whim. Lirita and I would learn this amongst our travels, yet would not expect to learn of it so soon. Lord Elrond suggested we head for the encampment in Evendim. Joining that of my kin, the Dúnedain that protect the lands and fight to reclaim that of Annúminas. One must admit that I was not too fond of making this reunion.

Onward... Wardens...

Two years would pass since our time trapped within the Cave at Nan Tornaeth... Two years our relationship blossomed into something no one expected... and little approved...

The Beauty of a Flower

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

It has been several months since my untimely arrival to Imladris. The culture of the Elves is something you would not see in any of the cities or villages of Men.  Lord Elrond and children, Elladan, Elrohir and his youngest, Arwen would show me the same respect they would show their own kin. Arwen would seem to ask questions often, wanting to learn more on the Dúnedain than she knew already.
