Blue journal entry # 2 - Message from Isengard

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Still in Bree, two days before we set out east. The tavern of Barliman was filled with men of the mark this day, drinking, laughter and boasting about their strength. It attracted the attention of many other people who joined without invitation, the savage tribesman a shady sea captain and some other patrons. Melowen clearly recovered from her wounds as she was already picking a fight with this savage who is about twice her size.

Diary, that was close..

Diary

Oh how can I describe the last days?
I don´t dare to try it.
I was confused, I was a fool and I nearly lost the one I truly love, because I thought I will take the lesser evil, before I marry a foreigner.
At least I am thankful that Daellas and his Lord Tidhelm will leave Bree soon.
His behaviour towards me was false, but why was I so blind to see how much Duarion suffers under this?
I am lucky, that he did not decline me.
I made my decision; I will stay with him and will never dare to lose him again.

Journal entry page # 158 - Doubts

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

I sit here at this desk at the infirmary of Bree. Behind me Melowen is recovering of yet another arrow wound. This wound was caused during our reckless effort today. Melowen got hold of a strange letter, I quickly read it when she gave it to me, but I can not recall the exact words. I have searched the entire room, but I can not find that bloody letter! It was a piece of a puzzle I fail to solve. The letter said something about a noble being escorted to the north by the enemy. The letter pointed towards a ruin south of Bree.

An odd letter

True is that Daellas is always worried for something, but this time he really has reason to. The journey led to grim events. Two of their kin were lost, probably dead, and she and Arunel were alive by sheer luck.

Still, besides the actual bad events, and evident problems, there also was something underneath. The feeling of something that wasn't "right". Small yet odd details, shady behaviours. Daellas admitted to not have trusted Tidhelm. Clearly, the old man is a pain to bear, but not trust him? That's a bit too much.
