Khalis did not know what drew him to the hall that day, truth be told many had often spoken quietly about how the elf lord seemed less focussed and carefree since returning from the far south with the remains of the company he rode with. It was well known that less than half returned to Imladris, their role had always been a perilous one in service to the lord of the vale.

A maethor from a far land comes to the hidden vale of Imladris seeking out the best warrios of the vale. His name is Khazim Basara.

He spoke of many things asking many questions such as how long the elves spent studying combat and how long a warrior would take up such a role. Khalis was not sure if his answers did scare the warrior off for he was not seen again in the vale.

Hmmmm ... two figures ... definitely human ... not Lossoth for sure ... passing the gates of the encampment with little more than a nod between them and the Lossoth lookouts ... well known and trusted it seemed ...  

Interesting! 

Elveaner watched quietly from the bank outside the main hut trying to read the pair ... and yes, somehow they seemed a pair or a team despite a well crafted (in his opinion) casual look about them and the progress they made into the camp.
