  To the Lady Elisbeth of the Warband, and the Lord Khalis - Greetings.

  Need has called me away from the vale for the time being; I apologise.
  I hope your patrol could continue in my absence as planned, and the vale continues to be safe under your watch.
  As for this, I am sending this letter together with three of my trusted friends of the Free Peoples. You may have met some of them before, in Imladris or in their own homelands.

this is disturbing news indeed. The stone in the North Downs is not the only one of its kind I have investigated. Should the stone you speak of be of the same kind, this means the threat is ever mounting.

I would like to meet with you in person and discuss this discovery. Where and when can I find you?
