Elhevor has not met any nandorin elf since he move away from Eryn Galen, many many years ago.

So you can imagine his wonder when one day Master Elrond told him that a delegation from Mirkwood just arrived in Rivendell to discuss matters of great importance and asked him to greet them at the guest rooms…but the wonder soon became disappointment when Elhevor founds himself upon the sindarin prince of the woodland realm, the son of the hated  king Thranduin!

My excitement can scarcely be contained as we pass through the gates of Imladris the sun is rising over the peeks and shards of morning light pierce the leaves of the trees. A fresh gentle inviting breeze graces our faces as we make our descent down into the hidden vale.

Dear Mother and Father,

 

These past few weeks have been so exciting! Lina organised a secret journey for anyone who wanted to visit a certain hobbit on his birthday, so we all gathered in Stock the middle of the night, so no one would catch us. I was quite surprised at how many hobbits turned up! I don't think we can keep our secret journey very secret for long if so many hobbits know of it!

Faorie stands in the Hall of Fire, meditating over recent events when a man makes his way to stand before her. She looks to him and he looks to her.

He kneels before Faorie.

Faorie is rather surprised by his immense sense of formality. She bows in return. “Suilad, friend,” she says.

“Do not bow.” He stares at her for a long moment. “Yer an elf. I will hev' no elf bowing before me.”
