Outward Appearance

Standing 8ft in height, hIs bright sapphire-blue eyes are easily noticed, right after his immense height and hulking muscles. A very noticable slash-like scar flows over the right eye. His hair is as black as pitch, but kept at a slightly thicker buzz-cut. Around his neck hangs a pendant in the shape of a stretched winged-kiteshield, the raised image of a sword crossed midway over a smithing hammer over an anvil circled in silver, and inscribed into the silver in a language known to Garex and his 2 brothers, is the clan motto ("With this large heart, I shall shield them from despair, upon these broad shoulders, I shall hold the weight of the world. For until my presence is no longer needed, I shall turn back the darkness, and bask in the light.").

Background

Little is known about how exactly Garex ended up in Eren Luid, and for the time being, Garex has remained content to not know how he came to reside in Thorin's Hall as a baby. For now he is very much content to not care either. Raised essentially from birth by the Dwarves of Thorin's Hall, Garex, unlike his brethren, grew into his bulk instead of having it develop with his height. Throughout his early years he could be found moving throughout the hall, helping here and helping there until he was finally given permission to leave the hall and assist in the Dwarven lands surrounding the great mountain dwelling. The skill of Prospecting was taught to him shortly after as he was neigh a hunter nor much of a woodsman, but it was in the art of Metalsmithing that the "oldest" of the trio truely shined, showing great promise from day one as a metalsmith, he apprenticed under anyone who would teach him anything about metalsmithing, Learning the finer points of armor smithing. It came to no suprise to any whom knew the young lad in his early years that Garex decided to become a Guardian as his comforting, reassuring pressence could often be seen turning back Dourhands with damaged equipment, often using his own body to protect the Longbeards who were starting to get overwhelmed by numbers. During his teens he learned the common tounge and is able to read, write, and speak fluently in both common, the Dwarven language, and the mysterious tounge known only to the brethren, though his Two brothers are the only left alive that know of his capability to speak, read, and write in their secretive language. Always one to be at the head of a charge and more than willing to suffer damage to his own body than even consider letting the innocent suffer a single blow if he can prevent it. It is this large heart which often leads him into trouble as he desperately attempts to hold onto what little stability the 8ft man can. To this end he seeks to find the one thing he has never found...a place for him and his brothers where they can all live in comfort and happiness. It was he whom first discovered the Tasmin clan's Codex, and upon doing so he studied it diligently, finding much to agree with in his Ancestor's "style". Now he fights for the free peoples, ever needing to be needed and wanting to help whenever possible.
