| Outward Appearance | Dunere is a stereotypical man of the Mark. His flaxen hair is long, sitting just below his shoulders unless tied back behind his head and its colour conceals the strands and flecks of grey from most. Despite having lost the vision in his right eye to the blade of an adversary, his left is blue, keen and watchful. His gaze often provides either warmth and humility or frost-like disinterest to his general countenance, and crow's feet present themselves appropriately when he smiles. Such features demonstrate a number of years of service, but he has yet to succumb to age entirely.
Tall for an Eorling, Dunere stands six feet and four inches from the ground, with a broad chest, thick arms and powerful legs. This, along with the scar that crosses from his eyebrow to his jawline, provide insight into his past and present life. He is without a doubt, a well-built, strong and marshal man and although he is rarely seen in his full kit, much of his equipment is seldom far away.
As a respected Æthelwigend and Thane, though more recently both student and instructor, he has taken great care to ensure that his speech is clear and concise. His voice is firm, with a strong and distinctive accent, and can be commanding when he deems it necessary. He is polite, welcoming and respectful and enjoys civilian life as much as the next man. |
