Eerwen

Eerwen of Rivendell
| Name | Eerwen |
|---|---|
| Occupation | Healer/Scholar |
| Age | Young |
| Race | Elf |
|---|---|
| Residence | Wanders, but usually found in Celondim |
| Kinship | Blades of Twilight |
| Outward Appearance | Eerwen is neither short, nor tall for an Elf. She has jet black hair, always pinned up to avoid having it fall in her face when she's working. She wears simple, undecortated clothing most of the time. Her eyes are a misty grey color, some would say they are the very image of fog. Her skin is unusually pale, but not due to lack of sunlight.... She can occassionally be seen staring off at something no one else can really see, though thankfully this doesn't happen too much. Eerwen doesn't carry any weapons, except a staff which she can reach around and pull from her back with little effort. Her raven, Faun, is almost always with her. If he is not, he is sitting out of sight nearby, ready to fly to her side if she whistles. Faun is Sindarin for 'Cloud'. |

Background
Eerwen has had a fairly easy life of wandering, though she prefers not to talk about her years before the Blades of Twilight. She never knew her parents, as they had quickly abandoned her as a child, leaving her at the gates of Rivendell. She was taken care of by a guard, but she never felt right in her home. She longed to explore Middle Earth before age forced her to settle in one place.
At an early age, she left Rivendell for Celondim. From here, she travelled many places including the Shire. She finds the halflings there amusing. Between each journey, she rests in Celondim.
Only one thing sets her apart from other Elves. Eerwen has a strange condition that allows her to see figures that no one else can. This is the explanation for her moments when she freezes and stares at nothing. This disease also causes her skin to be pale, no matter how much time she spends outside. She takes a special medicine that she makes herself each morning to prevent seeing the odd figures. The side affects of this potion include frequent headaches, but it is a small price to pay in order to keep herself normal.
She has one travelling compainion: Her raven, Faun, whom she found in the woods with a broken foot on one of her travels. She cared for the bird, and in turn he protected her. Faun means Cloud in Sindarin.
Eerwen met her friend, Jazilin, quite by accident. She was travelling to the Lone Lands with Faun, when an arrow flew by out of nowhere, piercing the sand at her feet. Appearently, Jazilin had missed her intended target, Eerwen's raven, and after a long conversation and introduction, they decided to travel together.
