Background
Erithion Themaldir was born on TA 2991 in Bree, where he lived until he was of thirteen years of age. Even as a child, he was fond of reading, especially about history. He practiced swordplay since he was eleven (Although his younger brother, Athlore, was better than him in this regard) under his father, while also spending his time reading any books that he could find. He did not spend as much time as his brother did with the other children, remarking that "They're noisy. Very noisy. I can't read with that much noise."
He was sent by his father to the House of Elrond to safeguard him- which earned his father a comment of "You're sending me to someone I don't even know to protect me?"- and for him to learn more within the great libaries of the Elves. There he studied and served within several roles: as an aide in the Library of Elrond, a healer, a caretaker for the animals and gardens, an apothecary, and a writer. It was also in Imladris that he learned how to play music and speak in the language of the Elves.
It was within the last Homely House that he became more familiar with his Dunedain heritage, and it was there that the desire to see the Northern Kingdom and the remnants of his kin awoke, and this would be one of the bigger factors of his leaving.
A few years after, he left Imladris with the consent of Elrond, and now wanders throughout Middle-earth. He has visited the remnants of the Dunedain of Arnor, and assists them in combating the servants of the Enemy, and with special vigor, the Angmarim.
