On a clear evening when Tilion chased close after Arien across the sky and both could be seen in the Heavens, Enduial was born.  So it was that his father named him in close fashion to the Sindarin word ‘Anduial,’ meaning twilight.  His Mother bestowed the name Laisi, ‘new beginning,’ as in her heart she sensed that her Son would have an abundance of hope.  She saw in her Son one who would play a part in the future of Middle Earth that would change the landscape of that land forever.  Enduial was second born and shared a special closeness with his sister Laith.

Enduial was one of the many present at Edhellion when Skorgrim Dourhand disrupted the peace of that fair refuge.  The impact of the Dourhands bold move to steal the Elf relics left a lasting impression on both himself and his family; albeit in very different ways.  His parents, having long since grown weary of the troubles of Middle Earth took the Dourhands attack as a sign that peace would never be fully restored.  They decided it was indeed time to sail to the safety of their Kin in the West, to return to the land of the Valar.  Enduial saw things much differently.

Witnessing the devastation at Edhellion awoke something deep inside Endual, a strong desire to protect Middle Earth from those who would despoil its beauty and take peace away from the people.  With much sorrow he bid farewell to his parents and his beloved sister.  

During the years that followed, Enduial followed the call of the Hunter, spending many long months alone in the wild.  When not in the wild, Enduial spent much time in the Grey Havens with his Kin, learning what he could of the lore of his people and that of Middle Earth.  Through travel, he met many others who hailed from different races and forged many strong friendships.  Such friendships have endured though the telling of these chance meetings is a tale for another time.
