| Outward Appearance | Heorulf is a tall, broad-shouldered and stern looking man. He has light brown hair and blue eyes. He has a noticeable scar running over his mouth. Except for the dark hair, you can very clearly recognise him as a man from the Mark. He is usually clothed in the shades of green. He wears a chainmail armour and a longsword on his back.

Background
Heorulf was born in a small village close to the city of Aldburg. His stepfather Wilfrid taught him the skill of smithing. When Heroulf was still a young boy, his stepfather was killed in an accident. From then on, Heorulf worked as the village smith while at the same time taking care of his aging mother.
At the age of 16, Heorulf joined the army. He was soon recognized as a leader of men and was given a small unit to command. For many years he and his men patrolled the Marks borders defending them from occasional intrusions.
He was recently approached by a Gondorian man called Mildaris. Heorulf learned from Mildaris that they are related and have the same father.
